Football Academy Madrid has begun recruiting Student-Athletes for the 2021/22 season. We are an alternative path to NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA soccer. Essentially we are a college soccer team, but we compete in the European football league system.
After spending the Fall of 2019 and Spring of 2020 putting infrastructure and logistics into place, the training, university, and residency options for our Student-Athletes. The trainings will take place within a 10-15 minute walk of the Cuidad Universitaria (University City, where more than 5 different Universities are located).
We are recruiting players out of High School class of 2021, players who are transferring out of NJCAA schools, or who are looking to complete their Master's Degree while continuing to play. Check out the Our Program page on the website for all the options available to you.
Our Mens and Womens teams will compete in the Spanish Football pyramids (see below, Mens left, Womens right). This is a unique opportunity to rise through the divisions each season. The season run the entire school year, consists of 35 league matches and will be augmented by mid-week Showcase matches against clubs who are in semi-pro and professional divisions.
University tuition costs in Madrid are significantly less than the average tuition of an American university. Public schools in Madrid have a tution rate around €2,000 per year and private universities range from €6,000-20,000. Certain options such as the St. Louis University Madrid campus allow you to complete an American accredited degree and study all four years in Madrid.
(see Universities page for links to all options)
